By the end of the class, you’ll be prepared to confidently build a fire in any outdoor environment, enhancing your overall wilderness experience.

A Day in the Field:
This class is held in our outdoor classroom, where learning happens immersed in the natural environment. Be prepared to spend the day outside and dress for the weather and changing conditions. Classes may include light walking over uneven ground, natural terrain, and woodland trails. Participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch, snacks, plenty of water, and anything needed to stay comfortable while training in the field.
Our classroom is a true off-grid setting with simple, rustic amenities—including an open-air outhouse, offering an authentic field experience.
